What does Roxy mean to Fate in Berserk of Gluttony?
Fate and Roxy are friends. Fate is a gatekeeper who was saved by Roxy from the Vlericks. He has always looked up to her, ever since she saved him. He sees her as a strong and capable woman, and he admires her for her courage and determination. He also feels a sense of loyalty to her, as she was the one who took him in and gave him a chance when no one else would.
Roxy is a holy knight who is also the head of the Hart Family. She is kind and compassionate, and she is always willing to help those in need. She sees Fate as a talented young man with a bright future, and she is willing to mentor him and help him grow as a person.
The two of them have a close relationship, and they trust each other implicitly. They are always there for each other, no matter what. Fate is willing to do anything for Roxy, and she would do the same for him.
Is Fate confusing reverence as love for Roxy?
It is both reverence and love that Fate feels towards Roxy. Or rather, it is reverence turned into love. Fate has always looked up to Roxy, ever since she saved him from the Vlericks. He sees her as a strong and capable woman, and he admires her for her courage and determination. He also feels a sense of loyalty to her, as she was the one who took him in and gave him a chance when no one else would.
At the same time, the longer he spends time in her company, the more he starts to develop romantic feelings for Roxy. He is drawn to her kindness, her beauty, and her intelligence. He wants to be with her and protect her, and he imagines a future where they are together.
However, Fate is also aware that Roxy is from a noble family, and he is a gatekeeper. He knows that their social status would make a relationship between them difficult, if not impossible. So he keeps his feelings to himself, and he tries to focus on being a good friend to Roxy.
We can conclude that while Fate does love Roxy, they have a long way to go before either of them confesses their real feelings and decide what happens to their relationship. From the looks of the trailer, things might just work out in their favor.
