Top 5 best selling manga and anime series of 2023 so far

2023 has witnessed a rise of incredible stories, unforgettable characters, and record-breaking sales of mangas. A manga is basically just a comic book, it can be used to refer to the ones made in Japan. However, in Japan, the terms manga and comic are used interchangeably.

If we were to list the differences between manga and comic books, it could turn into a debate, much like the question: ‘Is anime the same as cartoons?’ As a diplomatic observer, I refrain from taking a stance in order to maintain neutrality and avoid upsetting anyone. Or do I?

Anyways, getting back to the main discussion without any further delay, here’s a list of the top 5 best-selling Japanese manga of 2023 so far.
