Kingdom Season 5 will begin airing on January 6, 2024. The previous season premiered on April 6, 2022, so fans have been waiting for the anime long enough now. The season is being animated and produced by Studio Signpost which will go on to adapt the manga from chapter 441.

Plot
The 5th season depicts the Qin army vs. Zhao army and the battle over Koku You Hill. In this battle, General Kan Ki serves as the Commander-in-Chief, and Shin and the Hi Shin Unit participate as reinforcements. As Qin finished off Ai’s rebellion and mustered enough soldiers to continue campaigns, they launched another campaign to take the Koku You Hills, a strategic area for both Qin and Zhao.
Qin sends General Kan Ki as the leader of the campaign and his own Kan Ki Army as the main force, supported only by Shin and the Hi Shin Unit. Zhao sent Kei Sha, the man close to the final seat of the Three Great Heavens, and his own Kei Sha Army, supported by the Ki Sui Army and its leader, General Ki Sui.
On the first day, the Hi Shin Unit is ambushed by Ryuu Tou and Ba Tei, which is just a trick to redirect the Hi Shin Unit’s path toward retaking the hill instead of advancing forward. In response, General Kan Ki deployed the Zenou clan to stop the advance of Zhao forces to the top of the central hill.
What kind of battle will Shin and the Hi Shin Unit carry out together with the Kan Ki Army, and will they be able to win the battle against Zhao?

A trailer for Season 5 of Kingdom has not yet been released. However, The official website for the anime of Yasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom manga presented a teaser video and visual.
