Golden Time follows Banri Tada, a freshman at a private law school in Tokyo. After an accident, he suffers from severe memory loss and is unable to remember anything from before the accident. He struggles to adjust to his new life, but he eventually befriends Mitsuo Yanagisawa, a fellow freshman.
One day, Banri meets Kouko Kaga, a beautiful and eccentric girl who is Mitsuo’s childhood friend. Kouko is immediately smitten with Banri, and she does everything she can to win his heart.
