Me and Roboco’s anime series, which debuted on December 4, 2022, presently has 21 episodes, each having a run-time of five minutes. The story follows the life of Bondo Taira, a middle-schooler, who lives in the future where many homes have a robotic maid called an OrderMaid.

Bondo begs his family if they can have one, and Roboco shows up one day. Roboco, on the other hand, is extremely strong yet clumsy, unlike the other OrderMaids.

Me and Roboco manga- what is it about?

Shuhei Miyazaki’s Me & Roboco began syndication in July 2020. Viz Media has been responsible for issuing its English volumes. The story follows Bondo Taira, a 10-year-old boy who lives in a future where everyone has robotic maids called OrderMaids.

Because this is a parody manga, there are references to other titles scattered throughout the plot. Bondo and Roboco have similarities to the main characters of Doraemon, Nobita, and Doraemon. Roboco and Doraemon are both robotic friends to the young boys, and it is their presence that causes havoc.

The anime adaptation of the manga was enthusiastically received by the fans.

  • Me and Roboco’s growing popularity is unlikely to slow anytime soon as the manga and the anime continue to gain new fans every month.
  • Until the Me and Roboco movie comes out, the anime and the manga are both great options to indulge in, as they are extremely fresh and entertaining.

Me and Roboco Movie Adaptation- when will it release?

Shueisha announced the film adaptation of Me & Roboco in the Weekly Shonen Jump 28th issue on Monday. On the other side, it was also hinted that the anime adaptation, which began a few months ago, will receive an additional “important announcement” in the 29th issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump, which is set to be released on June 19.

In a recent tweet from Shonen Jump News, it was revealed that the movie adaptation of the manga is set to premiere during the Winter of 2024. The movie, much like the anime and the manga- might be a parody in nature. The notorious focus on comedy and crazy events, that take place in the manga are its biggest selling points. It is going to be an enthralling experience to get to watch this adaptation.

Me and Roboco movie adaptation- where to watch it?

The manga series- Me and Roboco possess way more golden material than what was encapsulated in the anime. Although the anime did a great job overall, it did lag behind in capturing the crude and straightforward humour of the manga. Me and Roboco manga series is of the gag genre that is set in the near future.

Although not without its critics, Shuhei Miyazaki’s manga has been a moderate success for Weekly Shonen Jump and is positioned to have more material in the near future, as seen by the recent anime adaptation and the film’s announcement. Currently, there has been no proper announcement about where the viewers would be able to watch the new Me and Roboco movie adaptation, but the manga is currently available for reading through Shueisha’s Manga Plus app and the Viz Media app with simul-release for new chapters.

We will make sure to update you on all the new announcements about the movie adaptation and the manga itself.
