In Mushoku Tensei Season 2, Rudeus recently got married to his childhood sweetheart and reunited with Rujierd and his sisters after a long time. With that, the anime has been following the light novel quite well but some chapters and scenes have been cut out as well. The recent episode of Mushoku Tensei season 2 brought us to the end of volume 10 of the light novel.

At the current pace, where will the story reach in the light novel by the end of season 2? And how many Mushoku Tensei Arcs will be left unadapted after season 2? If similar questions have surfaced in your mind, this article will answer all of them for you.

Mushoku Tensei Season 2 is listed with 25 episodes in total, with the second cour being 13 episodes long. On average, 3 to 5 chapters are getting adapted per episode.

With this information in mind, Mushoku Tensei Season 2 will adapt the light novel up to Volume 12th, reaching the end of the Labyrinth Arc. We might get a few chapters from Volume 13th as well, depending on how much content is cut from the two volumes.

In Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 15, we reached the end of the NewlyWeds arc with Nanahoshi’s breakdown. At the end of the episode, Aisha and Norn appear along with Rujierd. Next episode, we’ll enter the Sisters’ Arc which will cover the story of both the girls and their relationship with their brother. The season will end with a big adventure which is a part of the Labyrinth Arc.

At the current pace, after Mushoku Tensei Season 2, we’ll need at least 2 more seasons with around 24 episodes each. So the story will need one more season after Mushoku Tensei Season 3.

Rudeus has yet to find out the truth about the Human God and Roxy. Rujierd’s return in the story also sparks curiosity regarding the potential return of Eris. A lot of loose ends are yet to be tied up.

The Journey Ahead

In the previous cour of this season, Rudeus went through a heartbreak and his confidence dropped significantly. His time at the university was spent looking for a cure, but he finally found his cure in his childhood sweetheart. Sylphy has positively changed his life. Not just Sylphy, he found faithful friends in the form of Zanoba and Cliff.

But another storm is about to hit Rudeus in the form of a letter. Who is this letter from? We’ll find out in the upcoming episodes of Mushoku Tensei Season 2. As for fans who have been on the lookout for some action and fights in the series, they are in for a treat as the journey ahead is action-heavy.
