Rent A Girlfriend Season 3: Will we get to see Mami and Ruka this time or will we finally get to the center duo?

Rent a Girlfriend season 3 is set to release this summer with more drama unfolding it seems. The harem series has been preparing fans with multiple key visuals featuring Mami and Ruka. The girls are an indispensable addition to the romance between Kazuya and Chizuru which is undeniably slow.

So with season 3 will we get to see the story progress similarly to seasons 1 and 2? Or we will finally witness some progress with the MCs. 

 

At the end of season 2, we saw Kazuya suggesting Chizuru make a movie for her grandmother with the help of crowdfunding. Chizuru agreed to this plan. We can expect the story to kick off from where it left off. We’ll see the execution of the movie plan. There’s also Yaemori, the black-haired character as seen in the trailer.

We got to see glimpses of the other girls as well. Let’s dive deeper into the story to analyze what the season has in store for the girls and the central duo. 

How much screen time for Mami and Ruka this season?

Both Mami and Ruka have repeatedly gotten in the way of our central duo. But with the movie plan, it’s safe to assume that we’ll get to see them a lot less. There’s plenty of Ruka in the trailer and you can expect her to stick around significantly for another season. As for Mami, her fans will have to wait (if there are any) for her to take center stage again. With Yaemori in the mix, we can expect her to show up pretty often.

It seems like Mami’s presence is limited to the promotional visuals this time around. 

Will we get to see significant developments with the central duo?

Kazuya and Chizuru’s romance has been very slow. The pace won’t pick up anytime soon, given the way the manga progresses. With her grandmother’s worsening health she’ll need more support. She has been strong and unwavering but it’ll be nice to see Kazuya supporting her emotionally in the upcoming season. As the girl has a lot to deal with. 

Not much can be said about romantic development. As for the spotlight, it’ll be limited to the central duo for the major part of the upcoming season. 

Rent A Girlfriend season 3: What to expect?

Rent A Girlfriend anime seasons 1 and 2 both covered over 50 chapters of the manga each. If the season follows the same pace then we’ll get to see the focus being on Kazuya, Chizuru, Yaemori, and Ruka along with the grandmothers. In case the anime overshoots and tries to cover more chapters then we can expect Mami to stir things up.

Without Mami, the negative energy will be much less but the progression will also lag. Another interesting aspect is how the fans will react to the new girl Yaemori. We’ll get confirmation of everything that is going to happen in season 3 when it finally airs on July 7th.
