The exact release date of the Uzumaki anime is not known, however fans can rest assured as both production studio and network licensor have confirmed that this Uzumaki will be released in later 2023. 

  • The 4-episode anime adaptation of Uzumaki was announced on August 30, 2019, during Crunchyroll Expo’s Junji Ito panel.
  • Initially set to premiere on Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block in October 2022, Uzumaki faced delays due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

The director and production team, committed to delivering a masterpiece, requested additional time to perfect the series, further postponing its release. As a result, anticipation for the the anime adaptation has grown, with eager fans awaiting its arrival.
