Kagurabachi plot and linkage to Demon Slayer

Chihiro begins his journey searching for the first katana by visiting Hinao, a liaison between the sorcerer and swordsmen societies. Chihiro is a skilled swordsman, but he is also hot-headed and reckless. His desire for revenge drives him, but he also learns to care for the people around him, including Sharu, a young girl whom the sorcerers are hunting.
The manga has been praised for its exciting action, well-developed characters, and sudden comedic cutscenes. It has also been compared to popular shonen manga series, such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, especially with the enchanted katanas.
Chihiro’s Katanas in Kagurabachi

Chihiro’s father, Kunishige, imbued his katanas with sorcery. The katana he made were enchanted blades with special powers. The katana that Chihiro wields was Kunishige’s last katana, the one he gave his life to make.
This katana were unique and possessed special powers due to the enchantment blade used, crafted by Kunishige. Chihiro, chanted the word “Enten” as he drew the sword from its scabbard. This action summoned a goldfish with three colors, its aura merging with the katana.
With a further incantation of “Black,” Chihiro swiftly and effortlessly bisected all the men in front of him, seemingly without even making contact with them using his sword. He then leaped into the air and delivered decisive strikes, concluding the lives of all his adversaries with the utterance of “Nishiki.”
Kagurabachi Swordstyle in Demon Slayer: What Kind of Breathing Style Would It Be?

Kagurabachi katana has an aura that would likely be a combination of Water breathing style, Wind breathing style, and Mist breathing style.
- Water breathing style: The Goldfish Aesthetics
Kagurabachi Swordstyle uses fluid and graceful movements, which are similar to the movements of Water Breathing, a Breathing Style that mimics water, specifically the flow, flexibility, and adaptability of the liquid, and replicates it with the user’s movements, techniques, and abilities. - Wind breathing style: The Sharpness
Kagurabachi Swordstyle is a very sharp and precise style, utilizing rotating movements to generate swift whirlwind-like slashes that greatly increase the wielder’s striking range or utilizing the air around them to deliver sharp sickle-shaped attacks. - Mist breathing style: Efficiency
Kagurabachi Swordstyle is a very efficient style. It uses minimal movement to conserve energy, maximize damage, and involve obscure movements and attacks that disorientate and confuse the target, similar to how a thick layer of mist obscures one’s vision.
Conclusion

Kunishige’s philosophy of creating meaningful enchanted blades matches the aim of the Swordsmith Village. He believed in considering the world’s needs and perspectives when crafting them, emphasizing the importance of his legacy and principles. This philosophy influences Chihiro’s actions, motivations, and every slash of his katana, similar to the way that the swords in Demon Slayer were crafted according to the holder of the sword.
