Kagurabachi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takeru Hokazono. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since September 2023. The story follows Chihiro Rokuhira, the son of a renowned blacksmith capable of forging unique swords, as he seeks bloody revenge against a gang of sorcerers with the help of a magical imbued sword forged by his father before being assassinated. He is determined to hunt down the sorcerers who killed his father and stole his magical katanas.

Chihiro begins his journey searching for the first katana by visiting Hinao, a liaison between the sorcerer and swordsmen societies. Chihiro is a skilled swordsman, but he is also hot-headed and reckless. His desire for revenge drives him, but he also learns to care for the people around him, including Sharu, a young girl whom the sorcerers are hunting.

Chihiro’s father, Kunishige, imbued his katanas with sorcery. The katana he made were enchanted blades with special powers. The katana that Chihiro wields was Kunishige’s last katana, the one he gave his life to make.
This katana were unique and possessed special powers due to the enchantment blade used, crafted by Kunishige. Chihiro, chanted the word “Enten” as he drew the sword from its scabbard. This action summoned a goldfish with three colors, its aura merging with the katana.
With a further incantation of “Black,” Chihiro swiftly and effortlessly bisected all the men in front of him, seemingly without even making contact with them using his sword. He then leaped into the air and delivered decisive strikes, concluding the lives of all his adversaries with the utterance of “Nishiki.”
