One Piece Chapter 1085 was already creating a ruckus on the internet before its release since Chapter 1084 left off on a cliffhanger that should be illegal. Chapter 1084 had plenty of flashback scenes that sent the fans spiraling.
Chapter 1084 Recap
Chapter 1084 is titled “The Attempted Murder of a Celestial Dragon” and it starts with Sabo encountering Bonney during their mission where the two eventually separate after coming up with their own respective plans. Meanwhile, Cobra asks the Five Elders about the fate of his distant ancestor Lili, one of the World Government’s founding members. We see Charlos making another attempt to capture Shirahoshi, forcing Mjosgard to have Sai and Leo attack him. Im overhears Cobra’s conversation and steps out of the shadows mentioning Lili which shocks Cobra.
One Piece Chapter 1085 Major Spoilers Released!
Titled “The Death of King Nefertari Cobra”, the next chapter was one of the highest anticipated chapters in One Piece. Breaking the internet once again were the spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1085 put out by SHNKSQ and confirmed by Redon themselves, a reliable informer who can be found on Arlong Park Forums. According to them,
- Queen Lily’s real name is “Nefertari D. Lily“.
- We see Imu attack Cobra and Sabo with a shadow arrow.
- In addition, Imu discovers that Wapol is spying on them but Wapol runs away.
- Vivi is captured by CP0. Wapol appears in the room where the CP0 and Vivi are.
- Nefertari Cobra asks Sabo to tell both Luffy and Vivi that “we are from the D family.”

Additional Spoilers (Confirmation status is uncertain):
- Cobra knows Imu’s name. It seems that he is one of the 20 kings.
- Cobra couldn’t finish his speech completely and was killed by Imu.
- It looks like the Gorosei has Devil Fruit powers. After Sabo attacked the Gorosei, huge monster-like shadows appeared behind them and all shadows are different from each other.
- Part of Imu’s ability is hinted to be a Devil Fruit as well.

Breaking Down the Spoilers
Based on the spoilers, we can form a vague guess of how the story is going to progress in Chapter 1085.
- It is revealed that Queen Nefertari’s full name is Nefertari D. Lili. Nefertari Cobra had asked the Gorosei about D. in the previous chapter since he knew their family’s real name and had a growing suspicion and wanted the truth from the Gorosei.
- Nefertari Cobra seems to know someone named Imu and it seems to be the name of one of Twenty Kings. He is adamant that he knows the name, but is unclear about the form. Before he could say anything else, he and Sabo are attacked by Imu with shadow arrows. It is still unclear whether the attack was fueled by a Devil Fruit or not. The Gorosei might also possess Devil Fruit powers because when Sabo attacked the Gorosei, huge monster-like shadows appeared behind them, and all shadows were different from each other.
- Imu discovers that someone outside was spying and but before he could capture him, the spy flees the scene on quick feet. It seems like the snoop was King Wapol who flees to a room where Wapol appears in the room where the CP0 and Vivi are, with the latter captured by the former.
- And as her last words, Nefertari Cobra asks Sabo to tell both Luffy and Vivi that “we are from the D family.”Â
