One Piece 1111 Spoilers: Did Zoro fail to defeat Rob Lucci after all?

One piece puts the resolve of the strongest into battle in zoro vs king (6)

Just when fans were gearing up for another action-packed chapter of One Piece, they received the disappointing news that the manga will be taking a three-week break. However, before the weight of that hiatus could fully sink in, brief spoilers for OP Chapter 1111 surfaced, offering a glimpse into what promises to be an explosive instalment this week.

  • While this will be the last chapter to tide us over until the series returns from hiatus, Oda seems determined to make the wait worthwhile.
  • The final chapters of the Egghead saga have been pure “gas”, with the ancient robot begging for Nika’s forgiveness (while Luffy is visibly confused) and the fact that Rob Lucci still stands after facing Zoro in the last chapter.

These brief spoilers merely scratch the surface of what Chapter 1111 likely holds in store. As more details emerge, we’ll update this article accordingly. In the meantime, readers can subscribe to our newsletter for fascinating One Piece theories to help cope with the upcoming drought of new chapters.

The spoilers show that though the fight between Zoro and Rob Lucci appears to have concluded, the CP9 agent was still standing after Oda previously stated he’d been defeated.

We’re not sure if Lucci is just too proud to stay down or if Zoro needs to go for round two, but we don’t think the Straw Hats have enough time to worry about him.

  • As Luffy’s clash with the Gorosei escalates, the ancient giant robot wakes up and asks him about Nika, and as you’d expect, Luffy has no clue who Nika is.
  • The intensity peaks when Warcury unleashes a massive Haki wave, but Luffy can only giggle and responds by using the Gorosei as baseball balls.

With the battle raging, Luffy and crew attempt to flee towards the giants’ ships. The battered Marines can only watch, left to comfort the fallen Kizaru.

But the chapter’s biggest bombshell comes at the very end when the awakened giant utters an ominous apology: “Sorry, Joy Boy.”

The new One Piece chapter spoilers say that Rob Lucci is still standing after his fight with Zoro. This is confusing because in the last chapter, Oda clearly said Zoro won that fight.

  • But just because Lucci is still on his feet doesn’t mean he actually won. We know Lucci is a very prideful and stubborn man. He may have lost the battle, but refuses to fall down onto his back.
  • It’s possible Lucci did lose to Zoro, but his sheer willpower and pride is keeping him upright even though he’s beaten. This would be similar to how the legendary Whitebeard managed to die while still standing.

Of course, we can’t be 100% sure that’s what happened until we see the full chapter. But based on Lucci’s personality and Oda saying Zoro won last time, it seems more likely that Lucci is simply too proud to stay down rather than him actually beating Zoro.

Lucci probably won’t give up his stubborn stance until he is completely unconscious. Zoro may have beaten him, but Lucci’s willpower is preventing him from falling just yet. But what do you think? We’d love to know what you think; did Lucci lose, or will there be a round 2? Let us know in the comments!
