Demon Slayer season 4 will focus on the Hashira Training arc that takes place right after the Swordsmith Village storyline. In the last season, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke arrived at the Swordsmith Village and are greeted by Hotaru Haganezuka, the swordsmith who made Tanjiro’s sword. Hotaru is furious that Tanjiro’s sword was damaged, and he refuses to repair it until Tanjiro explains what happened.

While Tanjiro is waiting for his sword to be repaired, he and his friends learn that the village is under attack by a group of demons led by Hantengu.
Hantengu is an Upper-Rank demon who can split himself into four separate bodies, each with its own unique abilities. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke join forces with the Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, and the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji to fight Hantengu. The battle is long and difficult, but eventually, the Demon Slayers are victorious.
What can we expect from Demon Slayer Season 4?
In the next arc, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke train with the Hashira to become stronger and defeat Muzan Kibutsuji. It might also contain bits of the Infinity Castle arc if the 11th and last arc does not require a whole season of its own.

The Hashira will push the young warriors to their breaking point. Their training is rigorous, but they will always be up for the challenge.
This arc will feature some of the most compelling moments are stunning action of any in the Demon Slayer series and that’s saying something since the action scenes are always on-point and testing the limits of animation in ways never seen before.
This arc will set the stage for the final battle and revisit the very action that started the series of events in the anime- will Tanjiro be able to stop Muzan Kibutsuji and avenge Nezuko and his fallen family and friends?
What kind of match-ups will we see in the Final Battle?
In the interest of not spoiling anything, if the anime continues to remain true to the manga, then we can look forward to the following match-ups in the Final Battle-
1. Shinobu Kocho vs Doma – Shinobu Kocho vs Doma was a battle that took place in Infinity Castle. It focuses on the battle between Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho against Upper Rank Two Doma.
2. Zenitsu Agatsuma vs Kaigaku – It focuses on the battle between Zenitsu Agatsuma against Upper-Rank Six Kaigaku, who was an old senior of Zenitsu and trained with him under the same master, Jigoro.
3. Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka vs Akaza– Tanjiro Kamado and the Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka go neck-to-neck against Upper-Rank Three Akaza. This battle is one for the books and features many flashbacks, both for the Kizuki and the Demon Slayers.
4. Kanao Tsuyuri and Inosuke Hashibira vs Doma– Demon Slayers Kanao Tsuyuri and Inosuke Hashibira face off Upper Rank Two Doma. It is a battle of wits against century-old techniques as both sides try to find each other’s weaknesses in a high-stakes battle.
5. Mitsuri Kanroji and Obanai Iguro vs Nakime– Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji and Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro go against Upper-Rank Four Nakime, who is the epicenter that is holding up the entire Inifitny castle for Muzan. During the end of the fight, Yushiro joins in the fight to aid the two Hashira.
6. Demon Slayers vs Muzan Kibutsuji– Since Muzan Kibutsuji is the main antagonist who cannot be defeated with even his head being cut off, it will be a difficult task to overcome him. It will require the combined strength and efforts of all the Hashiras to overpower him and somehow subdue him till sunrise, the only thing that can destroy him.
