In my previous review, I predicted Loco Musica might defect from the Lord Squad. Well, that part came true! But joining Enormita wasn’t something I saw coming. However, the episode threw another curveball – Leberblume’s unexpected allegiance switch.
Is Leberblume a Tsundere?
Prior to this episode, Loco Musica and Leberblume seemed like polar opposites. This week, however, reveals a surprising friendship beneath the surface. Leberblume’s tsundere exterior masks a genuine desire to support her friend’s dream of becoming a pop idol. Shockingly, her “forced audience” concerts were orchestrated by Leberblume in a misguided attempt to boost Loco Musica’s confidence.

With Leberblume’s power revealed, we now have a complete picture of the Lord Squad’s underling abilities: Loco Musica controls music, Sister Gigant becomes gigantic (shocker!), and Leberblume is basically the magical girl version of Yami from Black Clover. Leberblume’s outfit hinted at her true nature – a deadly assassin. Her ability allows her to manipulate anyone whose shadow she touches, and she can even become one herself. Leberblume’s skills go on display during the fight against Enormita.
In a clever manoeuvre, she uses the shadow cast by one of Magia Baiser’s scissors to enter Leoparde’s shadow, effectively hijacking control of the magical cat and turning it against Magia Baiser. The more shadows there are, the stronger Leberblume is because she has more to work with.
Her strategic control over shadows showcases a surprisingly versatile powerset, complemented by her use of shurikens for close-quarters combat. Despite her impressive skillset, Leberblume falls victim to Nero Alice’s dollhouse trap. Unlike Sister Gigant, brute force isn’t an option for escape. This unexpected hostage situation gives Magia Baiser leverage, forcing Loco Musica to stand down.
Loco Musica Takes Over the Exhibitionist Role?
Remember Magia Magenta’s exhibitionist tendencies? It appears Loco Musica might be taking the exhibitionist mantle in a rather bizarre twist. While her dream is to be a pop idol, Loco Musica’s singing voice leaves much to be desired. However, when Baiser forces her to strip on stage, a surprisingly decent singing voice emerges. And let’s not forget Loco Musica’s seemingly newfound enjoyment of being watched by Leoparde and Nero Alice during this forced performance.
Now, the question remains: did stripping magically turn Loco Musica into a great singer? Not quite. While there’s a definite improvement, she’s still far from amazing.
