Bleach is returning with part 2 of the Thousand Year Blood War titled ‘The Separation‘. With the trailer release and the new updates, we’ve got a lot to unpack here. Fans got to see their favorite anime after ten years with the thousand-year blood war in October 2022. The ten years long wait for Bleach’s return was well worth the wait with everything it had to offer. Now with part 2 coming, the excitement is immeasurable. Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Trailer
The trailer came out on 28th May 2023. It starts with Uryu Ishida siding with Yhwach, the introduction of new Quincy characters, and the soul reapers training and having sparred with enemy fighters. There are detailed frames of Hitsugaya, Rangiku, and Shinji. Shinji is seen using his Bankai which is something to look forward to.
The trailer reveals the opening song as well, the visuals which were the highlight of the previous season appear to be just as fascinating as they were the last time we saw them. Part 1 showed back-to-back fights, part 2 is set to follow the same path based on the trailer.
Story
In the previous part, it was finally revealed to Ichigo that he is someone of Quincy descent. Ichigo has both an internal and external fight to face, with his close friend siding with the enemy and the near-end condition of the Soul society. Uryu Ishida has been a part of every important fight Ichigo has fought since he was introduced. His betrayal is bound to affect Ichigo.
Hitsugaya and Byakuya lost their Bankai. We lost head captains Yamamoto and Unohana. Ichigo also had to pick a new sword, leaving behind his original zangetsu. He is wielding two swords now, we can expect an exhibition of how he uses his new swords. Ichigo needs to get stronger to fight the quincies and defeat them.
Release Date
The release date is confirmed to be July 8, 2023. The anime will be broadcasted on Tv Tokyo and other streaming networks. The last part was out on Disney Plus and Hulu, similar predictions can be made for part 2.

Opening
The opening song is revealed to be ‘Stars‘ by Japanese Band w.o.d. The members of the band are Takuya Saito, Ken Mackay, and Motoyoshi Nakashima.
Cast
The cast of the anime is also updated with some new additions. Aoi Yuki, Tsuyushi Koyama, Sochiro Hoshi, and Nao Toyama are joining the cast. Besides this addition, the cast will remain the same as seen in previous seasons.
Conclusion
Part 1 of Thousand-year Blood War outdid everything in the Bleach anime so far, gathering praises and easily going down in history as one of the best comebacks by any anime. All that’s left is for part 2 to live up to the first part. Summer 2023 is easily the most hyped season for anime fans with all the reveals and the amazing line-up of anime.
