Kenjaku is the Aizen of Jujutsu Kaisen Unavoidable future looming near

Everyone will agree that Kenjaku is one of the strongest sorcerers in Jujutsu Kaisen. Being the mastermind behind the entire plot of the anime, it would be hard to imagine him losing to anyone, let alone a clown. He is so strong that many in the community have begun to compare him to Aizen from Bleach.

In this article, I will explain why this comparison does not stop at their position in the show but also extends to the fate they will soon share. What I mean is that Kenjaku is being led to be sealed, exactly like how Aizen was sealed.

What wouldn’t be sealed away, however, is Spiel Anime’s Newsletter, which brings as intriguing content as these characters and is equally as exciting. Another great thing is unlike these shows, you won’t have to wait for an entire week, as we bring it to your fingertips every Monday and Saturday!

What happened to Aizen?

Aizen is the most overpowered character in Bleach, standing right after Yhwach and Ichigo. He planned everything from the first arc to the Fake Karakura Town arc. He was very ambitious and wanted to become the Soul King himself. Throughout the series, he was undefeated; even at the end of his fight with Ichigo, he stayed that way.

He was stopped after being sealed within Urahara’s Kido. He was sealed beneath the first division, however, his powers could not be entirely sealed off. His Reiatsu could only be limited in range and not entirely. This is a great testament to his strength. With most of his powers sealed behind Kido, he was still able to contribute considerably to the fight against Yhwach.

But what does all this have to do with Kenjaku, who is still alive and kicking a mess in the world?

Why is Kenjaku called the Aizen of Jujutsu Kaisen?

Kenjaku and Aizen are both incredibly powerful in their respective universe. They are both ambitious and want to topple down the existing system of the world. They are expert manipulators and have been controlling every single event since the very beginning. While Aizen has probably shown greater feats in controlling the direction of his story, the other isn’t far behind.

Another trait that Kenjaku is going to share with Aizen is that he is going to be sealed off. Why come to that conclusion? There are many reasons for this.

  • He is a powerful sorcerer who has been alive for centuries by shifting bodies. Killing his present host does not guarantee his end.
  • Additional measures would have to be arranged to kill him off entirely, for which the present group isn’t really equipped or prepared for.
  • Sealing him off allows them to use his knowledge in the future if any threat arises. His intelligence and strategies are second to none and having a binding vow compels him to help the future generation would secure the future of the Jujutsu world.

These three reasons are the main key points of why sealing him off would be the best solution for the narrative to take. While killing him off would really set our Serotonin off the charts, as stated in the first point, his death cannot be confirmed nor guaranteed. After his defeat, the present group could shift him to a weak and frail body, one like Mechamaru, and constrict him with curses.

Conclusion

This is a potential route Jujutsu Kaisen can partake in, one that would make the most sense out of the many others. Considering how Gege has confirmed that he has drawn inspiration from The Big Three, a sealing conclusion to Kenjaku would be one last reference to Bleach our maniac mangaka can afford.
