For anime watchers, Nagi is one of the most interesting characters. He’s a natural genius and an amateur with exceptional instincts. He enters the world of Blue Lock unwillingly, and that makes his journey quite interesting to follow. While that makes the movie a must-watch for Nagi fans, the movie has a lot to offer for Isagi Fans as well.

A new perception of Isagi will be unveiled as we will get to see him as an antagonist or a rival. Plus, characters like Zantetsu get sidelined in the main story. The spin-off fleshes out his and other side characters from the initial matches.

For manga readers, the attachment between Reo and Nagi has led them into some trouble in the recent chapters of Blue Lock. With Episode Nagi, we get a more magnified look at their relationship. It also helps us understand the co-dependency between the two characters and contextualizes their actions, making their characters more likable.

The main idea of Blue Lock is to hone your ego and reach the top with a self-centered attitude. Contrary to that, Reo entered Blue Lock intending to make Nagi the best. We follow a story that is exactly opposite to what Isagi has been doing, which is a new outlook on the world of Blue Lock.
