Blue Lock Manga: Most disappointing players in Neo-Egotist League

Bachira Meguru Blue Lock Manga

The revelation of the new biddings in Blue Lock manga brought along a wave of disappointment. With some of the best characters having low rankings. The cause of disappointment is how these rankings are actually justified. Few characters in Blue Lock have failed to live up to the reputation they built for themselves. Who are these characters?

Put on your Ego classes as we critique some strikers in the list of the most disappointing players in Blue Lock after the recent developments in the Neo-Egotist league.

Blue Lock Manga: Most Disappointing Players in Neo-Egotist League

Seishiro Nagi

The most deserving of the disappointing title is none other than the genius Seishiro Nagi. During his first appearance in the manga, he has an air of superiority around him. It comes from nothing but his football talent. During the selections, ditching Reo was one of the best decisions Nagi made. It helped him understand the playing style of other members of Blue Lock while evolving his own.

During the Neo-Egotist league, he has once again become a team with Reo. His playing style is overly dependent on others. No doubt he’s one of the best strikers but he can hardly take the ball up to the goal on his own. Constantly playing with Reo restricts him in a lot of ways. We’ve already seen how weirdly possessive Reo can get around concerning Nagi. It’s almost like he doesn’t want to free Nagi from his claws.

Falling out of the top 5 players in the rankings right after a match isn’t something anyone would’ve expected from Nagi. It would be great if he realizes this himself and strives for a more independent playing style.

Ryusei Shido

Next up on this list is Shido. Similar to Nagi, Shido’s team recently had a match. He failed to make it to the top 10 players of the Neo-Egotist league. There can be two reasons behind this, either he didn’t play the match against Manshine City or he didn’t get a higher bidding because of his problematic traits. These reasons will explain his low ranking if they turn out to be true.

Otherwise, it’s unbelievable that Shidou let Rin score three goals all on his own. Things will take an interesting turn if Loki goes the character correction route before letting Shidou be a part of PXG’s playing eleven

Meguru Bachira

Bachira has lost all the matches he has played in the Neo-Egotist league so far. He gets hyped to no end but often gets lost on the field. Similar to the way it happened when he shared the field with both Isagi and Rin. Since then, he should’ve undergone some sort of improvement but we haven’t gotten any insight on that.

Although he’s among the top 5 players of the Neo-Egotist league, there’s a significant difference between him and Barou who’s right above him. With the way things are progressing, we might not get any real Bachira-related developments before the World Cup which is pretty underwhelming, to say the least.
