Sukuna using his other cursed technique in jjk season 2

After a chapter that left fans gasping for air, Jujutsu Kaisen (or rather, the entirety of WSJ) is taking a brief hiatus this week, aligning with the celebrated Golden Week in Japan. As the nation gears up for a week of festivities and vacations, fans will have to exercise patience before witnessing the aftermath of Sukuna’s terrifying Domain Expansion in JJK 259!

While the chapter ended on a cliffhanger, with Sukuna unable to regain his Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT) output after Yuji’s seven Black Flashes, fans will have to wait a bit longer for the series to return. But in the meantime, check out our bi-weekly newsletter for interesting JJK theories and predictions (we’ve predicted quite a few plot twists in the past, so you don’t want to miss out!).

  • Golden Week is a period of national celebration in Japan, where four public holidays fall within the same week: Showa Day (April 29th), Constitution Day (May 3rd), Greenery Day (May 4th), and Children’s Day (May 5th).
  • These holidays commemorate significant cultural and historical events, such as the birthday of Emperor Showa, the enactment of the Japanese Constitution, and the celebration of nature and children.

During Golden Week, most people in Japan take paid leaves to visit their hometowns or celebrate with their families. Numerous festivals are held nationwide, and a large number of people travel domestically to enjoy the week-long vacation, and WSJ is goes on break. So, it isn’t just JJK that’s on break, but other series like One Piece and Blue Lock as well.

Jujutsu Kaisen 259 Predictions and What to Expect

Sukuna prediction for JJK 259

The tables have turned in the epic clash between Yuji and Sukuna. With his back against the wall, the King of Curses has unleashed his full might, holding nothing back.

Chapter 258 offered a glimpse of Sukuna’s devastating Malevolent Shrine, its slashes inflicting severe damage upon the sorcerers. Despite Yuji’s remarkable healing abilities through his reverse cursed technique, Sukuna’s ultimate trump card – the blazing flames of the Furnace – shifted the tide of battle.

  • We expect that to raise the stakes further, a sorcerer may make the ultimate sacrifice, shielding Yuji and allowing him to endure the remaining onslaught of Malevolent Shrine. With Sukuna’s current state unsustainable, this could be his final, all-out assault, leaving him without further trump cards. If Yuji can overcome the fire arrow, Cleaves, and Dismantles, his immense power could turn the tide in his favor.

We can’t predict who it might be though. Maki? Todo? A hunch says it might be Yuta, but we so hope we’re wrong.

Prepare for an explosive chapter as Sukuna unleashes the fury of his flames, pushing the boundaries of his power. Will a sorcerer’s sacrifice pave the way for Yuji’s victory, or will Sukuna’s Malevolent Kitchen prove too formidable? The anticipation builds as we inch closer to the next thrilling installment of Jujutsu Kaisen.
