Jujutsu Kaisen 237 begins with the battle between Kashimo and Sukuna, with the presence of Uraume and Hakari in the distance. Sukuna is delivered a cursed tool by means of a theatrical sequence of events, making Kashimo question whatever just happened before his eyes.
Kashimo then begins questioning Sukuna about his morality and his childhood, to which Sukuna replies bluntly and takes a grave philosophical approach.

But, as we know, the transformation has only begun and there is a shimmer of hope that Megumi might be saved by the others before Sukuna makes his transformation.
