Oshi No Ko : Will Ruby ever come back as Center girl?

Ruby Hoshino was the one who made the comeback of B-Komachi in Oshi No Ko possible. Even though the idol group came together because of her, she wasn’t the center girl of the group. Her dream to perform in the dome won’t be the same if she isn’t performing as the center girl. After all, Ai was the heart and soul of B-Komachi.

There have been so many developments in the Oshi No Ko manga. She has gone through a lot and become a different person in a lot of ways. Will Ruby ever come back as the center girl? Or is she on a different path now? The recent chapters have evident indications of the future of B-Komachi.

The three things important to become a famous idol as stated in the manga were the ability to sing, dance, and have good looks. Ruby could dance well and she is one of the prettiest characters as acknowledged by everyone. But her singing talents were seriously lacking. This led to Kana Arima becoming the center girl as she was the perfect fit. 

Over time Ruby has advanced a lot. She even lost her way but Chapter 123 brought her back on track or so it seems. With the resignation of Kana, things are pretty clear from the point of view of a reader.

The way things are right now, B-Komachi will need a replacement for Kana as the center girl. Ruby is a potential candidate with her good looks and her popularity. Even though Ruby has all the talents and requirements to be the center girl. The current direction of the manga isn’t entirely focused on the future of B-Komachi which poses some problems for Ruby and her future as the center girl. 

• Mem cho has been doubtful about B-Komachi as well, in case she quits which is unlikely but still a possibility, B-Komachi will fall apart. 
• We already have another member who’ll soon join the idol group, her position will also affect the future of the group. 
• Ruby’s schedule is jam-packed with all the gigs and jobs she’s getting. This might affect her idol performances. 

There have been signs that Ruby is back to being herself but there are still doubts and confusions. With upcoming chapters, we’ll get a more clear and definitive look at how she deals with the problems. 

Conclusion 

The performance at the dome will only be impactful enough if Ruby is the center girl. If Kana was here, things would have worked out fine as they previously did.
