With the much-awaited release date of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 228 looming nearby, fans can barely keep calm about the latest spoiler and raw scans release.
What We Know So Far
In the previous chapter, Gojo and Sukuna are engaged in a stalemate. Both fighters are using their Domain Expansions, and neither side can gain an advantage. Gojo then reveals that he has been using a secret technique called Reverse Cursed Technique.
This technique allows him to reverse the flow of cursed energy, which gives him a significant advantage in battle. He uses this to weaken Sukuna’s Domain Expansion, and he can break through it. This gives Gojo the upper hand, and he begins to overwhelm Sukuna.
Sukuna is forced to use his strongest technique, Malevolent Shrine. This technique creates a massive barrier that traps Gojo inside. However, Gojo can use Reverse Cursed Technique to weaken the barrier, and he can break free. The chapter ends with Gojo and Sukuna facing off in a final battle. It is unclear who will win, but the chapter sets the stage for an epic conclusion to the fight.
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 228 Spoilers
Titled “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Part 6”, this chapter will probably be the conclusion to the longstanding battle between Sukuna and Gojo.
We see that Gojo does not know how often Megumi tries to use Mahoraga. He believes that Megumi’s knowledge of Mahoraga comes only from what Gojo has told him, and thus Sukuna’s knowledge must also come from the same. He begins to question why Sukuna is not using the Ten Shadows Technique or Mahoraga to subdue him.
Gojo knows that Sukuna is aware of his conversations with Megumi regarding Mahoraga, so he should know about its existence. As he thinks about this, Mahoraga’s wheel appears and starts to spin, and Gojo gets dizzy, with blood coming out of his nose.
What is Sukuna planning with Mahoraga?
- Mahoraga is the most powerful shikigami in the history of the Ten Shadows Technique. It is a special grade cursed spirit that has never been tamed or commanded like other familiars in the history of the Zenin Family.
- However, users of the Ten Shadows Technique can summon it via an exorcism ritual in an attempt to exorcise it at any time.
The only person who has been able to summon Mahoraga is Megumi Fushiguro. He was able to do so during the Shibuya Incident when he was forced to use it as a last resort to defeat Sukuna. However, Mahoraga was too powerful for Megumi to control, and it eventually turned on him. While we were uncertain who has it now, it is likely that Sukuna has it, as he was able to summon it in chapter 228 spoilers of the manga.
He could be planning to use Mahoraga to kill Gojo because if he can control Mahoraga, he would have a significant advantage in the battle or he could be planning to use Mahoraga to achieve his own goals. Sukuna is a powerful sorcerer with his own agenda. He could be planning to use Mahoraga to take over Japan, or even the world. Either way, one thing is for sure: Sukuna is not planning to use Mahoraga for good.
