The Yuta vs Sukuna battle recently took a sharp and exciting turn as Yuta uses Cleave on Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 250. With Yuta’s Cleave, the battle will supposedly undergo a major shift and a duel between Cleave and Dismantle will probably ensue. Jujutsu Kaisen 250 explained Yuta’s copy and the potential of his katana inventory in detail.

Yuta uses Cleave just after Precognition, just as Sukuna anticipated him to use Limitless but dismissed the analogy and the possibility of it. In this article, we will look at how Yuta uses Cleave on Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 250 and what is to follow after this surprising revelation.

Yuta’s Cleave in Jujutsu Kaisen 250 is a technique that shocked Sukuna and overwhelmed his senses. He was initially very confident and made a list of all the techniques Yuta used – Jacob’s Ladder, Takako Uro’s Cursed Technique, Dhruv Lakdawalla’s Cursed Technique, Inumaki’s Cursed Speech and Precognition.

Sukuna predicted that Yuta might be using Limitless during the battle, but he explains that the absence of the Six Eyes is a very clear indicator that Yuta wouldn’t be able to do it. This raises a very important question – how exactly does Yuta copy techniques?

While there is still a lot of grey area to Yuta’s Cursed Technique and given the unavailability of information regarding the same, there are two possible theories that suggest Yuta and his Cleave technique –

1. Rika must’ve consumed a part of Sukuna

Yuta would have required Rika to take a portion of Sukuna, or maybe his blood. This wouldn’t have been too difficult, considering that Sukuna had taken a lot of bodily injury from Yuta, or it may have come from Rika devouring Sukuna’s hand, which he cut off himself when Higuruma tried stabbing him using the Executioner’s Sword.

The hand was still on the battleground and might have been swallowed by Rika, allowing Yuta to use Sukuna’s cursed technique. This was also seen earlier in the story when Rika consumed Uro’s arm and Yuta gained the ability of sky manipulation soon after.

2. Yuta’s Domain Expansion has no restrictions on Copy

The second option was to simply expand the potential of his domain. Fans are aware that Yuta has imposed some limits on Copy outside his domain. However, inside his domain, Copy is completely unfettered.

As a result, Yuta’s domain extension may also be unconstrained in terms of copying capabilities. Essentially, anybody under Yuta’s realm may have their cursed skill replicated by him without any conditions.

This is suggestive of the fact that Yuta can also copy Sukuna’s Dismantle in the future giving the Jujutsu Sorcerers a chance at defeating the King of Curses by slaying him with his own weapons, the ones which also prove to be the deadliest.

Jujutsu Kaisen 250 concludes on a very unexpected note, with Yuta seemingly copying Sukuna’s Cursed Technique while inside his own Domain Expansion. Although no explanation is provided for how this was accomplished in the most recent release, we have focused on how he may have done it. But on a similar note, we have to also understand how Yuta stores his copied techniques.

Jujutsu Kaisen 250 opens with the narrator explaining how Yuta Okkotsu’s Domain Expansion Authentic Mutual Love works. The Domain allows Yuta to pick any one of the Cursed Techniques he has copied and instill it within the barrier as the Domain’s sure-hit effect. This indicates Sukuna’s assumption from the previous issue about Angel’s Jacob’s Ladder Cursed Technique was correct.

  • The narrator then reveals that the remainder of Yuta’s copied Cursed Techniques are randomly distributed among the katanas in his realm. Yuta is the only one who can use them, but he doesn’t know which katana contains which Cursed Technique until he seizes them.
  • Furthermore, while each katana may only be used once, the amount they can be used is limitless, and the Techniques can be transferred from katana to katana.
  • In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 250, Yuta copies Dhruv Lakdawalla’s Cursed Technique, sending many Shikigami in the form of Rika to Sukuna. Yuji hits Sukuna from the side, while Rika attacks from above, causing Sukuna to avoid. This, however, activates the Shikigami and Dhruv’s Cursed Technique, which creates an inviolable barrier.

Conclusion

A proper explanation of Yuta’s Cursed Technique should be provided in the next chapter, given that Yuta’s use of Cleave is pondered upon. Moreover, Sukuna will also witness a side of the battle that he didn’t anticipate, given that his entire strategy was based on predetermination, perception and foreshadowing.
