Top 10 Anime Characters with Black Hair

Levi

Everyone will agree that if there’s anything we look forward to in Attack on Titan besides the Titan forms, it’s this 30-year-old man spinning like a Beyblade. Whenever Levi‘s onscreen, everyone irrespective of gender screams with joy. That’s how brilliantly this character has been written. Not only is he immensely strong, but he has portrayed how most adults deal with trauma. Braving it through, he has been a constant dear to the fans of the series.

Inosuke

One of the most energetic characters in Demon Slayer, Inosuke, has kept the excitement alive. His sheer presence makes anyone who’s watching the series feel like they too want to get out and slay demons. His nonchalant demeanor keeps the show lightheaded without becoming too stressing with its themes and his comedic timing allows for good laughter as well. He has been a pretty strong slayer and fans only look forward to seeing him get the spotlight in the upcoming sequels.

Shikamaru

Naruto probably would have been a messy leader if Shikamaru had not been on his side. He is a smart shinobi with an IQ of over 200 who has bested many opponents. Not only is he amazing in understanding situations and formulating the best course of action, but he is also kind and intuitive about other’s feelings. He is also strong enough to back his position as one of the pillars of Konoha.

Aki

Guardian of Denji, Aki from Chainsaw Man is an absolute treat to the eyes. Not only is he a very well-written character, but he is also strong with a tinge of sarcasm mingled in between. He has a serious face on at all times, but deep inside he is filled with emotions that he cannot let out. Becoming one of the pillars of Denji’s character development, he is what drove Denji off the line, becoming one of the most important characters in the series after Makima.

Lelouch

If brains over brawns were a person, it would be this guy. Lelouch vi Brittania from Code Geass is the protagonist and antagonist of the show. He is the aizen of his verse, controlling how each character will play out their role in the story. He is incredibly smart and has a Godlike power that honestly acts more as a secondary tool in his plan of vengeance than being the center point of his quest. This is what makes him different from all other characters in the anime world.

Aizawa

The Guardian Dog of the U.A. High School Class A, Aizawa from My Hero Academia is simply one document away from adopting all of his students. Having one of the most broken abilities in his world, he is a strong individual with a great sense of justice. He is kind and compassionate to his allies and a nightmare to his foes. One of the many characters that fans keep itching to see again in the show.

Kirito

To make a list of black-haired characters without this enigmatic playboy would be unfair. Kirito from Sword Art Online is the definition of “I have nothing but plot armor”. He is immensely strong in his world, and only a boss with infinite HP and All Attack Negation skill could rival him. And even then, Kirito might find a way to defeat him. He is, in his own way, a very amusing character.

Nico Robin

Nico Robin is probably the most important member of the Straw Hats Crew after Luffy. Without her, Luffy will have a significantly harder time finding the One Piece. She is the only person alive who read the Poneglyphs, making her the most sought-after individual in their world. Her character arcs were a masterpiece and she is the queen of One Piece for many fans, including me, sorry not sorry Nami fans.

Byakuya

Our first introduction to how badass Shinigamis could be in Bleach started with this dude. Coming out of nowhere and showing Ichigo his place, Byakuya was the epitome of strength for us fans back then. His bankai is one of the most quoted bankai, even becoming a TikTok audio. He has received character development, one that is not easily visible if not paid attention. However, in the Thousand Year Blood War, we have seen how he has trusted Ichigo with the safety of Soul Society, making a statement of his growth.

Vegeta

If there’s anyone as iconic as Goku in the anime community, it’s Vegeta. The Prince of All Saiyans, he is only second to Goku. Fans have constantly wished for him to receive his own Dragon Ball show, which has gradually received more traction with Gohan fans joining the train for a series on their favorite character as well. He is in training to become the next God of Destruction and should receive a story solely on him once that happens.

Conclusion

These characters are as iconic as their main character, with the exception of Kirito. They have greatly contributed to their series’ popularity and continue to do so. If you feel we missed someone, comment down below and let us know who you think should have also made it to the list!!
