Black Clover manga: Yuno is getting too much importance and it’s suspicious

Getting too much importance or screen time doesn’t bode well for anime characters or in this case manga characters. Black Clover manga has been giving its strongest character Yuno, too much importance.

To the point that it’s getting suspicious. Usually in these cases, the character meets their end in the most tragic way possible. So is that what we’re moving towards? Let’s break down the recent events in the manga to understand Yuno’s fate. 

What has been happening with Yuno?

Yuno is up against Lucius and has already defeated him once. This made the former Captain of the Golden Dawn promote his rank from Vice-captain to Captain.

Yuno was crowned as the new captain of Golden Dawn by William. As his fight progressed, Marx finally entered the battlefield but he used his powers to communicate Yuno’s significance to the Clover Kingdom. While this might be just an attempt to reignite hope, was the timing apt?

Yuno gets promoted to the rank of captain in a fight against the strongest villain, was it that important? Is Yuno running out of time and that’s why we are seeing all these important events take place in the middle of a battle that decides the fate of the whole world? Whenever fictional characters get this treatment, it’s safe to assume that their end is near and it’s not pretty. 

Is Yuno running out of time: what are the possibilities?

Yuno might be nearing his death as it’ll completely shake fans and the Clover Kingdom. 

• In case Yuno dies it’ll add to Asta’s similarities to the two villains, Zenon and Conrad. Zenon lost his friends while Conrad lost his family, which led them to choose the part of the destruction. Asta is very close to Yuno and his loss will be a test of Asta’s will and also the final emotional obstacle he needs to overcome. 

• The recent developments regarding Yuno might just be happening to delay Asta’s arrival. 
• Yuno’s death will justify the special treatment he has gotten throughout his journey from a peasant to becoming the Captain of the strongest brigade. It’ll be one of the most impactful events in the Black Clover history. 

The effects of his potential Death 

 

• This is the final arc, so Asta will reach his goal by its end. Yuno’s death will completely take away from this achievement or make it more impactful. 
• A duel between Asta and Yuno has been expected for ages. Their duel will finally give us our new wizard king. It’ll be the most fitting end to the manga. But Yuno’s death will rob us of all these possibilities.

Yuno is no stranger to the limelight. This might just be another exhibition of Yuno’s power levels. But the timing of the events makes one grow suspicious of what’s coming up.

Maybe we’re indeed moving towards a tragic end for Yuno. His death might be far-fetched but the chances are not down to zero. No matter what, it’s bound to get a loud reaction from fans.
